HOUSE RULES

  • Security Cameras are located outside the home, please do not cover them as they are required for the safety of those on the property, as well as for liability purposes. 
  • Decibel readers are located in and outside of the home, these help monitor the noise at the property to be sure that our neighbors get a good night’s rest. 
  • We love pets, but our furniture doesn’t. Please be sure that your pets are not getting on the furniture and beds in the home. Please be sure to complete the require pet agreement before your stay with us: https://www.yourbarefootvacationrentals.com/e-signature-pet-agreement-1/. Also be sure that all fees associated with bringing your pet with you are paid prior to your stay. These fees are $25 per pet per night, as well as a $70 non-refundable pet deposit.
  • We understand that accidents happen sometimes. If anything becomes damaged or broken during your stay, please let the management company know as soon as you can. There’s no need to replace it yourself – they’ll be happy to take care of everything. 
  • We appreciate the peaceful quality of our neighborhood and neighbors. One of the things that makes it so great is that everyone, including guests, respect the quiet hours of 9:45 pm to 7 am. We’re confident that you’ll appreciate getting a good night’s sleep, too (not to mention no noise citations from San Diego County). 
    • $250 fee will be charged to the guest if loitering outside and/or outside noise is detected over 50 decibels during quiet hours and/or inside monitor exceed 70 decibels during quiet hours. $50 fee will be charged to the guest per each phone call after guest has been warned the first time.
    • $600 fee will be charged to the guest if a Barefoot Vacation Rentals employee or security guard must arrive at the property due to not being able to reach the guest and/or noise does not digress within 15 minutes.
    • $1500 fee, cancelation of reservation and removal from property with no refund will be charged to the guest, if the police are called during your stay due to noise, unorderly conduct and/or disruption of peace.
    • An additional $1500 fee will be charged if the county is notified and/or code enforcement is called due to a valid complaint made by neighbors.
  • We want you to enjoy the outdoor seating area, including the outdoor firepit. We just ask that you never leave the fire unattended and be sure to turn the propane off when you are done. We provide a starter amount of propane. Any request for additional propane is subject to charge.
  • Please feel free to use the grill located on the back patio, we just ask that when you are done that you turn the propane off. We provide a starter amount of propane. Any request for additional propane is subject to charge.
  • While we would like to welcome friendly get-togethers at the house, we are restricted by law and insurance requirements to only the maximum number of people our home accommodates: 14 guests. We are happy to recommend options for great event venues and additional accommodations around Bonsall– just ask!
  • Our driveway can accommodate up to 6 vehicles, parking one behind another.
  • For the health and safety of all our guests, our home and property are 100% smoke-free.
  • We supply starter amounts of dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels. We do not replenish supplies or exchange linens during your stay. Your rental will be stocked with basic cookware, drinkware, dishware & utensils.  If you need something specific, you can reach out prior to arrival to see if we have it available. We cannot guarantee special cookware items if you are needing a specific appliance we suggest bringing it with you.

Check-out time is by 11 AM unless agreed otherwise.

  • Please throw all trash into the dumpster at the bottom of the street.
  • Please leave comforters and sheets on the bed, place used towels on the bathroom floor.
  • Put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run with tablets under the sink.
  • In the winter, turn heat to 58º F. In the summer, turn air conditioning to 80º F.
  • Turn off the lights and ceiling fans.
  • Lock the door behind you.
