[ UNIQUE EXPERIENCES ]

Temecula’s Duck Pond – Located on the corner of Rancho California and Ynez, this man made lake is full of ducks year round.  Enjoy a meal at Pat and Oscars and order a few extra bread sticks to take down and feed our flying friends. Temecula has sister cities one in Netherlands and the other in Japan.  They have both donated statues that are located at the park.  In addition they have an amazing military memorial worth checking out.

SugarPlum Farm-Chocolate Shoppe & Petting Zoo – A fun way to experience something unique with some of the world’s smallest horses, a beautiful baby zebra, mini donkeys, a movie star alpaca, a mini cow, all kinds of goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys, quails and of course.. ducks that started it all! And to top it off some of the world’s finest artisan chocolate.

Horseback Riding through the Vineyards – Saddle up and enjoy wine tasting on your choice of Leroy and Shifty.  No drinking and driving with these guys. This one of a kind experience is offered 7 days a week from 9 to 5 PM.

Hot Air Balloon Ride – If you haven’t been on one, I strongly suggest you do it while you are in town.  The view is spectacular and the glass of champagne at the end is just as good.  Make sure to bring a jacket and get a good night sleep.  The balloons normally take off between 6-am and it’s pretty cold 3000 feet up.

Beyond the Sip –Excite your taste buds with our guided wine and food pairing experience designed to enhance your understanding and appreciation for the fine art of wine making.

[ NIGHT LIFE ]

Thompson & Twain Prospecting Co.- Take a glimpse back in time: a modern day hospitality meets the ambiance experienced in a Western frontier town. The setting, Decor and menu harken back to a dangerous and rough time in America’s history. A great place to search of fortune and adventure.

Blackbird – Outdoor seating  with a backyard feel. Life size Jenga, Botchie ball court, corn hole and numerous fire pits. Blackbird is one of the only places in Old Town Temecula that serves liquor. Julian, a dad of two, has some amazing meal and drink specials as well. (right across the street from Viva Vino)

Stampede – 18 and over.   If you are looking for a good time and cheap drinks this is the place.  The cover is usually around $20, free for military.  Don’t worry if you don’t know how to dance, it seems that everyone here is eager to teach. Catch a lesson on Friday and Saturday at 7 PM.

[ FAMILY ]

Pennypickle – A hands on children’s science museum that my kids can’t get enough of!  Lets be honest, I really enjoy going there too!  So much to do, so much to see!  Time it right and you and the kids can attend a  hands on science lesson with the Pennypickle scientists.

Escape room – Pam and her team has 3 rooms, depending on you and your groups skill level.  Open 7 days a week, from 10 am to 8 pm.  Schedule your reservation now to guaranteed a lot of head scratching, mind toughing and group building fun.  That is if you can get out….

Trampoline Park – Well, this has to be one of my daughters favorite place to go!  Bring grip socks, or you’ll need to buy theirs for a few dollars. Let the kids jump for a couple hours, and let them crash out the rest of the day.  Or jump with them and crash out for the rest of the weekend!  Look on Groupon for B1G1 deals.
